Menus

What's for lunch from February 2017 - July 2017

With the introduction of Universal Free School Meals in September 2014, meals for all children are FREE!!! Most children stay for a cooked meal, but if your child does not like the meal on offer that day, you can send a packed lunch or take them home for lunch. All our meals are cooked on site in our school kitchen. The kitchen has a 5 star  hygiene rating which is the highest level of award. A sample of meals is shown below:

Chicken Curry & Chocolate Sponge

Mince and Mash and Lemon Sponge

Roast Beef and Shortbread

Our cooked lunches are carefully balanced and nutritionally checked against the Government food standards.

All meals follow strict nutritional standards:

Packed lunches

Packed lunches are the responsibility of parents- however we encourage a healthy choice there too. Fresh food is always better than processed, fruit rather than chocolate and just one or two treat foods! No sweets or chocolate bars please. We ask parents to work with us to make lunch boxes as healthy as possible. Please include a non-fizzy drink too. Click here for advice on healthy packed lunches.
